Klevgrand Walls
Some decorate. Others redefine.
Walls is a unique and versatile algorithmic space effect, an exploration of sound deconstructing the traditional ideas of what a reverb can be. A bendable structure, on the edge of texture.
Shape a space for your sound. Stretch it, scale it, tilt it. All sounds are welcome.
Six acoustic modes, each with its own character. A clean, responsive interface that invites movement over measurement. From grounded realism to bending, impossible geometries – Walls adapts to your sound, and how you choose to inhabit it.
Shape a room your sound belongs in. Or one that’s never existed before. From soft, natural reflections to abstract geometries, Walls gives sound a place.
Features
- Six different acoustics algorithms (Plate, Hall, Spring, Cosmic, Hex, Binary)
- Based on a hybrid between a Feedback Delay Network and Diffusion system.
- Interactive visualisations for each algorithm
- Damping filter
- 2-band EQ
- Early and Late reflections mixer
- Up to 40 modulation LFO’s with individual frequency, with a unified and intuitive control system
- Stereo width control
- Variable diffusion depth
- Variable room size
- Large preset collection
Included Acoustics Algorithms
Spring – Ranging from classic spring reverbs to more experimental metallic resonators. Ideal for plucked instruments.
Hex – A delay/reverb hybrid, suitable for non-reverb effects, granular textures, and abstract sound design.
Cosmic – For deep, diffused soundscapes. Ideal for experimental textures, synths, effects and percussive sounds.
Binary – A deliberately degraded reverb with poor realism. For vintage-style digital ambience and resonant textures.
Plate – Well suited for general-purpose reverb applications. Synths, vocals and percussive sounds, to name a few.
Hall – Similar to Plate, but with a larger, more realistic sound. For emulating real acoustic spaces, from small to huge.
Anatomy
A room of dreams
Set the decay time and room size by dragging the edges up/down and left/right.
Distill before process
A 2-band filter before the signal gets processed in the effect engine. Each band has either cut or shelving mode.
Widen, Dampen, Diffuse, Vibe
A set of controls for managing the room's characteristics in terms of stereo width, brightness and diffusion.
Wobbulation
A powerful and playful X-Y pad for modulating the delay time. It can get really wobbly!
Model operandi
Walls includes six different room algorithms, covering both realistic acoustic spaces and more spacey creative effects.
