Antelope Audio VEQ-432C
VEQ-432C is a software recreation of the 1960s parametric EQ that became the gold standard for mastering equalization. Needless to say, you can use this plugin on a mix bus but you can also treat individual tracks in need of further polishing or true analog boost.
Upon first inspection, VEQ-432 sounds subtle, lacking any obvious drive and mojo. But the more you dig into its intuitive controls and use it, the more you start to hear a very particular and pleasant character added to your audio. Everything sounsz great when you run it through VEQ- 432C, even your wildest and boldest EQ experiments.
That’s no black magic but what a top-end mastering EQ does – helps you get those extra drops of honey out of an already excellent-sounding mix that only needs a little extra polish and push. That said, the EQ will serve just as well in a mix bus as on individual tracks in need of bumps or cuts here and there.
